Adrian's Christmas gift arrived today....2 gorgeous Italian cookbooks...what a perfect gift.
We found the dish that Nicola cooked for us when he was here!!!

Christmas lights - YEAR ROUND!

I'm not taking down the Christmas lights. Gonna keep them up all year long. Check out my outdoor shower...do you see the moon? I love that shower, especially with the Christmas lights!

From the comments, we sisters are alike! I'm obsessed with them....they are also on my deck (patio lights like Lisa's) and also in our bedrooms...they make great "night lights" for kids ('twinkle twinkle little stars' as Nic calls them).

the weather

Dear Family-who-just-visited-us,

I am so sorry for the rainy and cold days when you guys were here! As soon as you guys left, the sun came out and has been ridiculously warm, with no rain in the forecast. Go figure...
