7/21/2012 1 Comment The Baracudas Swim TeamPaula joined the swim team in May. She was the weakest swimmer when she joined but has improved tremendously. She won a couple of first places in her first swim meet, which I missed cause I had soccer duty with Nic. I was excited to watch her today, but she didn't do so hot. I think she came in second for the backstroke.

7/15/2012 0 Comments Season 2 - pretty little liarsNothing to watch on a Sunday night (we don't have cable) ..then I see this on NETFLIX!!! Major WOO-HOO!!!!! Guess who'll be sleeping late tonight.  Has it really been 4 years since their last album?!?!?!?!    New album out in September called "Battleborn". First single out now called "Runaways". It didn't grab me immediately. Have been listening to it really loud over and over (Adrian just bought me new headphones) ....the song gets better with time. I'm thinking of taking P to her first killers concert...Mom & daughter date night. Gotta do it now before I get too old. Since you have the volume way up ...how about going back to the beginning when it all started for me: Smile like you mean it All these things that I've done Blast from the past....14 years ago, we were at Yosemite with 2 other couples (Neil & June and Puiu & Adriana). This was pre-digital camera days, so I had to dig through Target/Walgreen envelopes to find some of these pictures. Quality was not so great.... [June 1998: Neil, June, Puiu, Adriana, me, Adrian]   I'm sure I was 10 lbs less then! I wish I had taken the same pose this time.   [July 2012] |
