There's no denying it...I'm SHORT and FAT. I stepped on the scale last week and to my horror - 12 lbs over! It's going to take me years to lose the weight. Adrian has politely been nudging me to exercise. My clothes are starting to to feel uncomfortable...pants are snug, arms can't breathe...body is begging for the next size up, but hell no...
So after a 5+ year hiatus, I'm going back to yoga...and WALKING. Yoga starts today at 4:30 pm. No excuses!
I'm going to expose my weight and track it here. Hopefully it will motivate me. Good luck to me!!! And to my other siblings and cousin Jimmy who are also working on losing the extra pounds.
Start Date: 3/21/2011
Current weight = 122
My goal = 110
Such a great weekend get-a-way!!! Can't tell you how much I needed to get away for a little break.
Indian Wells is a little town close to Palm Springs (about 2 hours from San Diego; 120 miles). Every year they host a tennis tournament with all the top players (men & women!). For about $45 each person, you could spend the day watching as much tennis as you want. You can sit where ever you want in the smaller stadiums (on bleachers). In the main stadium, you can sit where ever you want in the section you bought..no one really checks unless you are in the bottom section. We were quite high up, but who cares..it was GREAT! We are probably going to go EVERY year, so if anyone wants to come out with us next year....you will NOT be disappointed...I guarantee it!
Told the kids that they were meeting "Princess Maria". That got Paula's attention!
Paula: "Hi Miss Maria".
Princess Maria Sharapova: "Nice face paint".
The beautiful..the one and only....(my camera could not handle the super zoom)...in YELLOW! LOVE HIM.

Adrian and I went for a walk at lunch through San Diego's "Little Italy". I didn't have my camera with me - I should at all times! In between cute boutiques and cafes, we stumbled upon this factory - so weird, out of nowhere, on some random street are these people folding linens....I'm guesinng for restaurants and hotels. I'm so glad they left that door open for air...for me to catch a glimpse inside.
