marks 17 years to the day Adrian and I met at a dive bar in Atlanta.
An anniversary of our first meeting calls for a new dessert.

Album came out on Tuesday.
Bought the deluxe version (17 tracks).
I was not blown away. In fact, I'm disappointed. It's not bad...but nothing really stands out.
Remember Hot Fuss? You only have to hear the songs once and you're instantly hooked. Then the next few albums had a couple of really good ones.
But this new one...I think Brandon uses too many words in his songs. Less words, more dance music would be nice.
I'm not hooked yet, but not giving up either. Will continue to listen over and over.
They are going to be on Letterman Thursday night (9/20)! I'm sure they will be on Kimmel soon if they haven't already.
Here's one song that I keep repeating (turn it up, sounds better):
104 in North Park!!! This is the hottest it's ever been...feels like Las Vegas...
Lisa lucked out by coming last weekend.
Nothing to do but to cool off by the ocean.
Featuring Keane's "The Starting Line"...music doesn't go with the photos..just a reason to listen to Keane's new music.
The Chamberlains were in town. It was a little bit hot in SD (high 80's...remember, we don't have air conditioning)...other than that...we had a great time together. I feel sad while writing this post cause I miss my sister.....
Lisa took her boys to Disneyland...check out her site for those fun pictures!
Click on the song here while watching the photos. Featuring Keane's new song "Sovereign Light Cafe":
We are not a baseball family.
However, when I got 4 free tickets from work for busting my butt on a mini project...off to the ball park we go!
It's a Friday night...Petco Park is in downtown so we get to see the downtown/urban lifestyle...should be fun.
The highlight of the night was seeing a homerun...but other than that...football is WAY more exciting.
Speaking of football...CHARGERS and RAIDERS on MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL !!! I hope we don't embarrass ourselves cause the game with the 49ners was ridiculous.
Squeezed in some last minute fun before school starts on 9/4.
