7/16/2015 0 Comments Good Bye Rebecca - Hello RoseTurns out our "Rebecca" is a rooster! That means we have to get rid of him cause roosters are not allowed. Unlike the loss of Faux Hawk, we were relieved when someone replied to Adrian's craigslist ad to pick up a free Rooster. He's been crowing the last couple of weeks, starting at 5 am. We were told from the family that picked him up tonight that he's going to a big farm where he can roam freely and crow as loud as he wants to. I hope that's true.... The guy that sold Rebecca to us felt bad for selling us a rooster so gave us another chicken to replace Rebecca.....so we welcome "Rose" to our little farm. Good bye and good luck to Rebecca (Adrian's chicken): Welcome "Rose" (Rhode Island Red; approximately 6 months): Need to separate her from the others until she is comfortable:
