Random thoughts to capture: Nic saw these old pictures and his only comment was: "WOW, Mom....is that really you? You look skinny back then". ===================================================== Paula and I have our challenging moments....one night I asked Nic for advice. Me: Nic, what should I do when I get angry with Paula? Please give me some advice. Nic: (thinks for about 10 seconds) Just walk away... Me: You mean.."do nothing"? Nic: Yes, walk away and do yoga. It will calm you down. ===================================================== Me encouraging Paula to embrace her opportunities and strive to be the best at something. Me: In junior high and high school, you can be on the swim team, tennis team, track team, volleyball team or be in a band, orchestra or choir.....all these things that I was not involved in. If you find something that you enjoy and are good at, I will support you.
