5/22/2010 2 Comments treasuresSqueal with delight! Look what I picked up today while treasure hunting in the neighborhood. NOTE: You can click on each photo to take a closer look. Treasure # 1: Here are some samples of items sold at Anthropologie: I found these cups and plates for practically nothing!!! It's so "Anthro"!!! Made in Japan. Love them....so dainty, so romantic. Treasure #2: Artwork! Just what our bare walls need. To top it off, these are real paintings, not prints. One in the kid's library/computer room: The other in the guest bathroom:

5/18/2010 1 Comment update on BFlowNew pic of Brandon F. Looks too thin, but love his style. Solo album should be out in August. From what I read (an interview with him recently), he wanted to keep going, making music while the other killers wanted to rest after touring the past 3 years. He talked about having a duet with Jenny Lewis on the new album. Sounds cute....can't wait to hear it. Jenny Lewis is one lucky girl: Did she used to date Jake G.?
5/16/2010 0 Comments impulse buyHere is another impulse yard sale purchase. Explained to Adrian that this was WAY better than the barbie heads you see in the stores....these were used by professional hair dressers after all!
Adrian: What is it for?!? It's just going to sit around the house. Here is "Debra" sitting around the house: 5/16/2010 0 Comments entourageStill working in Anaheim a couple of days a week....convinced the gang to spend some time with me at the hotel - it just makes it so much better having them around. He's swimming on his own - look, no float wetsuit!

5/15/2010 0 Comments saturday night liveOur Saturday nights are so different now. We are so comfortable staying at home. Sooooo, to get out of that routine, we decided to check out the "night-life" in North Park. Quite a few restaurants opened up while we were gone for 2 years. It's exciting to see these local places thrive....these streets used to be covered with junky shops and prostitutes...major improvements the past few years.
On our walk tonight, we ran into an old friend. His girlfriend is opening a new wine bar in South Park (a neighboring hood). She's leasing an old warehouse for this place...I am so impressed with people pursuing their dreams....so awesome! On another cool note, Adrian and I need to take "date nights" seriously....keeping the spark alive. A couple of weeks ago, our friend and neighbor Clarissa came over and hung out with P & Nic so that we could go out to dinner...just the 2 of us! It was a really nice dinner. In return, we will watch her little Zoe so they can have some alone time...super idea, right?! I'm looking forward to these date nights...so many new restaurants and wine bars in the hood to try out :) I tried to smudge the addresses, but couldn't figure out the "retouch" tool...but at least you can't make out the addresses anymore. Thank you Aunt Thu for the BLING-BLING!!!
5/9/2010 0 Comments *Thank you Paulina & Nic for giving me a reason to celebrate today. Adrian and the kids did a fantastic job making me feel super special today. We started the day off with a trip to the farmer's market. I found this little table with the cutest homemade jewelry. The designer was there wearing one of her pieces...OMG...I just LOVE her stuff. She is this adorable 20-something artist...I am so impressed with her design that I want to support her by buying her stuff as birthday gifts for all the women in my life! I wanted to take a picture of her work, but since I will be buying them as gifts...I gotta keep it a surprise! I'm letting P wear earrings (only on the weekends)...she's totally obsessed! so many cute stuff!!!
