Gift from the Chamberlains...it was the first time for P and Nic....turned out to be a total success...lots of whale sightings. They breached (jumped out of the water) several times but I didn't have the type of camera that could catch that kind of action. January is a perfect time for whale watching as they are migrating south to Mexico during this time.
Paula was selected to be one of 8 4th/5th graders to participate in the culinary arts program at a local restaurant. The kids had to write an essay on the benefits of being in this program. The owners of the restaurant and chef selected the winners. We are mostly proud because Paula wrote her own essay without our help (writing has been a pain point during homework time, so yippeeee!)
They prepared a fabulous meal for the parents on the last day of class.
