A couple of days ago, Paula and Nic decided to surprise us by making us Valentine "dessert". They setup a table made of empty boxes and placed chair pads on the floor to make it look as though we were at a restaurant. Paula gave a speech, got really emotional and cried (reminds me of how I am when I expressed my love for my parents at Tet) It was a such a wonderful surprise, I was actually blown away by it. Tonight, they decided to do a repeat. This time I asked if I could record it. Paula was not emotional as the first time, but at least I have it recorded for keepsake.

(Hong - We got the sink from Habitat for Humanity, like your new door.) 2/15/2012 7 Comments GRANDMA UNDERPANTSSo Nic and Paula taught us a new game when we were on vacation....called "Grandma Underpants".
Here are the rules: You ask the person a bunch of questions, you win if they laugh when answering one of your questions. The catch is that they have to always answer your question with "Grandma underpants". Examples: Question: What do you like to wear to school? Answer: Grandma underpants Question: What do you wash your face with? Answer: Grandma underpants Question: What do you and your friends play with? Answer: Grandma underpants Question: What do you give your Dad on Valentine's Day? 2/15/2012 5 Comments Bathroom UpgradeTime to upgrade our bathroom. 2/15/2012 1 Comment indoor soccerLucian sent me this photo of him and his family to this website. What a nice surprise!
Lucian is a childhood school friend of Adrian and Adriana. We became fast buddies when he introduced me to the "Heroes" series when I was stuck indoors during the cold winter months in Romania. I can't remember if he bought the whole series on CD or if they were pirated copies. Hmmm....reminiscing us sitting in the kitchen, drinking that really good coffee, dissecting each episode..... Lucian - Hope you are doing well - SO COOL TO HEAR FROM YOU!! Thank you for the picture. We miss you. |
