This post is in response to David's post on 4/26/13:
David - I just found out last week that you and Zoé were blogging. As soon as I found out, I jumped on to check it out. I only had time to look at a few, waiting for the weekend to slow down and look through the rest to catchup with you guys.
Adrian subscribes to "dealnews.com" which alerts him on items that are on sale on the internet on a daily basis. On Friday morning he asked me if I was interested in getting an espresso machine....since there is one on sale for $300. You see...in Romania, we bought one of the restaurant-quality espresso machine and the coffee/espresso was out of this world. Every time someone stopped by the house, no matter what time of the day it was, I was offering them coffee. No one was disappointed. Like you, I look forward to it every morning and I was not one that needed coffee to get through my morning. It just tasted like a "European vacation". Since we've been back to the States, we've not had the same coffee experience. We bought the "Keurig" with the K-cups. Super fun and cute idea....great for guests.....but disappointed that the coffee was still not up to par....once you had really good coffee, you don't forget....so I gave up on it and has been trying the "Bodum" french press. This was a great improvement.
So anyway, the espresso machine got my attention. I remember seeing a picture of an espresso machine on David's blog so we went to it to read what David had to say about it. Turns out that it is also a Saeco.....not going to lie - I don't know anything about this brand or any espresso brands.....but after reading David's blog, we were sold and bought it immediately!
I'm looking forward to my double espresso + condense milk for my 2 hour drive to Anaheim tomorrow - Cannot wait!!! Thank you David for blogging about it!
