Save Our Chargers!

Chargers Team held a rally downtown in the proposed location to gather 60,000 signatures from fans....this is just to get on a ballot in November so that San Diegans can vote on whether they can build a new stadium in downtown or not. 

So complicated to keep football in town.  I can't imagine living in a city without football.  This is a BIG DEAL for us. 

Proposed site - next to baseball stadium.  Seemed so wasteful to have 2 stadiums side by side!  The complaint from fans with the downtown location is that there is no parking lot for tail-gating...screw that....whatever it takes to keep a team in town.

In preparation for the possibility of football leaving town, I started watching basketball again after a break of 20 years.   After the back-to-back Rockets championship, I just stopped watching basketball when Horry left Houston....maybe the major obsession with Robert Horry was too much for me!!    I caught the tail end of last year's playoffs and jumped on the Steph Curry band wagon and now watching basketball again!  I love the Curry-Thompson duo!!!
